At Carlsberg Camping we offer a child-friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Carlsberg Camping is located in one of Denmark's many areas that are known for its naturally beautiful countryside. We are about 70 metres above sea level, with a breathtaking view over the South Funen Archipelago.

There are many places to go for day-trips, including the islands of Langeland, Ærø, Skarø, and Drejø, castles such as Egeskov (17 km) or Valdemar Castle (2 km). Towns like Svendborg (5 km to the centre) or Rudkøbing (12 km) are fairly close as well, and very tourist friendly.

The beach is roughly 2.5 km away and can be reached by walking, biking or driving down through Gl. Nyby town, past the 700-year old “Ambrosius Oak”, named after the poet Ambrosius Stub.

Carlsberg Camping is a modern camp site, with family bathrooms, grill areas, a water play area, bouncy cushions, miniature golf, beach volleyball, cottages and caravans for rent and lots of other activities.

Tractor rides

Carlsberg Camping is a family camp site. Every day in July, at 10 a.m., an old Ferguson 135 tractor does a little tour of the site with the children on board. We go past the cottage village, the water play area and the playgrounds, so why not hop aboard to see the whole site in one go.

The Svendborgsund Bridge

The bridge between Svendborg and Tåsinge is a girder bridge. The Svendborgsund Bridge, which is 1220 m long, is supported by 25 sets of slender pillars, of which 11 stand in the Svendborg Sound itself.
When driving across the bridge one is struck by the fantastic view over the Svendborg Sound, with Tåsinge ahead, and the islands of Skarø, Drejø and Ærø to the right. On the left, Svendborg harbour with Thurø island in the background to the east. This beautiful crossing makes the journey to Carlsberg Camping an extra holiday experience in itself.
